Agreement and operator
These terms govern your use of goodResume, operated by Bytzo Inc., Ontario, Canada. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Contact support@goodresume.app with questions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Your account
You must be at least 16 and legally able to enter this agreement, or have the permission of a parent or guardian where required. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and only connect accounts you are authorized to use. You are responsible for activity you authorize. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. Social sign-in and connecting a mailbox or calendar are separate choices.
What the service does
goodResume helps you edit and format resumes, tailor resumes and cover letters to job descriptions, prepare for interviews and track applications. Available features and usage limits may change. We are not an employer or recruitment agency and do not guarantee interviews, jobs, salary outcomes, job-posting accuracy or acceptance by any applicant tracking system. Match scores are estimates, not hiring decisions.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of the resumes and other content you provide. You grant Bytzo Inc. a limited permission to store, process, reproduce and transmit that content only as needed to deliver, secure and support the service, including requested processing by service providers. This is not permission to sell your resume. You must have the rights and permissions needed for uploaded content, references, job descriptions and connected accounts. Our branding and software remain owned by their respective owners; applicable open-source licences continue to govern third-party components.
Review AI and imported content
OCR, parsing and AI can omit details, make mistakes or generate inaccurate statements. Review names, dates, qualifications, contact details and every generated claim before downloading or sending. Do not use generated material to invent credentials or experience. You decide whether to accept suggestions. AI output may be similar to material produced for others and is not guaranteed to be unique.
Sending, integrations and external sites
You control application submission and email sending. Opening a draft in your mail app does not automatically attach documents; check the recipient, text and attachments before sending. Requested Google actions, job websites, social sign-in and other third-party services are also subject to those providers’ terms and availability. Revoking a connection does not undo emails already sent or information shared with recipients.
Acceptable use
Do not impersonate others, upload content you are not entitled to use, send spam, make fraudulent applications, distribute malware, bypass access controls or usage limits, or interfere with the service. Use the platform lawfully and respect the privacy and rights of others. We may restrict access to address abuse or a security threat.
Plans and payments
goodResume has no subscriptions. A new account includes a number of free tailored applications; more can be bought as one-time credit packs (Pro, then add-ons). One credit is one tailored application for one job, including rewrites. Prices are in US dollars; your card issuer may charge a conversion fee. The price, currency, taxes and number of credits are shown before you pay, and payment is processed by Stripe. Credits do not expire, are not transferable and have no cash value. Unused credits end when you delete your account. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the credits it added are removed (in proportion for a partial refund), up to the credits still unused. Free credits for new accounts are added once your email address is verified. Free features do not authorize a charge. Prices for future purchases may change; credits you already bought are not affected. Any applicable refunds and statutory cancellation rights remain available under applicable law.
Ending use and your data
You may stop using goodResume at any time. Export information you want to keep using Settings → Data. Deleting workspace data does not automatically close the sign-in account; contact support@goodresume.app to request account closure. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, legal requirements or serious security risks, with notice where practical and lawful. Retention and deletion are described in our Privacy Policy.
Availability and responsibility
We take reasonable care in operating goodResume, but uninterrupted availability, error-free documents and permanent storage cannot be guaranteed. Keep copies of important documents. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and we are not responsible for hiring decisions, third-party outages or losses caused by inaccurate information you approve. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, warranties or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, or liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes before they take effect where required. Ontario law and applicable Canadian federal law govern, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence. Contact Bytzo Inc. at support@goodresume.app to raise a concern or request assistance. These terms do not require you to waive mandatory consumer remedies.
